The D3811 1" Spindle Gouge Lathe Chisel is known for fine shaping; especially beads and coves.

It features a beautiful ash handle and high-speed steel (HSS) shaft.

HSS has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance.

8" bench grinders are recommended to maintain the proper beveling. In addition to the grinder, diamond plates will help in honing the edge of your tools in between each sharpening.

Like all Shop Fox chisels, the D3811 comes with a 1-year warranty which assures the tool is free from factory defects.
